DNBSEQ-T7 & DNBSEQ-G400 Sequencers
About

Standalone Sequencing Service and Full NGS Service are provided with our state-of-the art DNBSEQ sequencers.

Date of upcoming sequencing run: In the week of 23 June 2025
Deadline for Standalone Sequencing Library submission: 17 June 2025
Deadline for DNA/ RNA Full Service Sample submission: 10 June 2025
Standalone Sequencing Service
Ready-to-sequence libraries of various applications such as RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), Whole Genome sequencing (WGS), Whole Exome Sequencing (WES), ChIP-Sequencing (ChIP-Seq), ATAC-sequencing (ATAC-seq), Whole Genome Bisulfite Sequencing (WGBS) and metagenomic sequencing are submitted and sequencing is performed.

The workflow is listed as follows:
Sample Submission
REMINDER: If you have plan to submit standalone sequencing libraries to BioCRF, you are advised to consult us on the index usage before library preparation to avoid duplicated usage of the same index in the same sequencing run.

# If libraires with Illumina adapters are submitted, an additional conversion step has to be performed by BioCRF.
* The total amount listed here is estimated from a library that needs 165 Gb data or less, more input will be needed proportionally when higher sequencing data output is desired.
^ Qubit assay is the recommended method of sample quantification. Consumables are available for check-out from BioCRF

Full NGS Service
With our liquid handlers for a wide range of throughput, BioCRF provides Full NGS Service for RNA-seq and WGS from extraction/ library preparation to sequencing with an automated workflow at a rapid turnaround time with a quality guarantee of Q30 ≥80% . Bioinformatic analysis is then performed on our High-performance Computer Clusters. The workflows are listed as follows:
WGS/ RNA-seq from purified DNA/RNA:
Sample Submission
* By default, unstranded library prep will be used for Poly(A)-enriched samples and stranded library prep will be used for rRNA-depleted samples.

# Users can check out Qubit consumables from BioCRF. If Nanodrop has to be used, the required amount and concentration should be double of those listed above.

^ For lower sample input, please consult BioCRF

Blood WGS:
Sample Submission
*Please avoid blood collection tubes with heparin

# Users are required to fill out a biorisk assessment form to ensure that the processing of the incoming blood samples is compliant with the university safety regulations
